There’s certainly a place for a hardwearing dishcloth in the kitchen, but if there’s one thing I’ve learnt it is that one can have too many ‘jammerlappies’ – those worn-out old dish rags that sometimes beg the question, how did it come to this? I’ve always loved vintage, monogrammed napkins and cloths, and so I’ve created my own range. It just adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen, and is especially suited to wiping those tiny droplets from a chilled bottle of wine just before serving.
