Join us for a leisurely afternoon lunch
Jan innovation studio has reopened!
To celebrate the reopening of JAN Innovation Studio, my team and I have created a truly special event. Join us for a light, summer lunch, enjoyed over multiple tantalising courses, each paired with the most delectable fine wines from the Cape Winelands.
Before dessert, explore the Studio Library’s collection of some of the most treasured cookbooks from our South African culinary heritage while embarking on a tour du fromage at the cheese table. A magical moment for a view into the behind the scenes also of where JAN the JOURNAL takes shape. Then, return to a refreshed dining space where you will be treated to my favourite collection of sweet treats.
Frozen Apple with smoked haddock, mussels and Huguenot cheese
Denningvleis with duck fried potatoes, cherry jus and summer vegetables OR
Franschhoek trout in a herb garden
In the Library and Cheese room, a selection of local fruits, nuts, and freshly baked breads
Meringue, sago, red fruit, sorbet, buchu and double vanilla cream
Mignardise and coffee
